My a/c compressor when i get on the gas stops and then resumes but squeals in between every gear shift? How do i get it to stop squealing?

What is the tension supposed to be? or do I just loosen the bolt a little?

when i changed my belt it did that squeking noise....all becuase i didnt tighten it enough...after tighten it jus a little it stopped....maybe loosen the tensioner jus a little to see if it works...installing the belts too tight or too loose will make that sound...as ofr the tension, check out the haynes manual or the honda manual, they show the length of how tight/loose u should have in your belt

If im not mistaken the deflection on the belt should be about an inch. Take a ruler and go to the beltand measure the distance from the belt being level to the furthest distance you can push it. That is your deflection. Im pretty sure that it should be about 1 in.
