noob has a question about mini me

how reliable is the mini me swap????? im thinkin about doing one on my 94 si.

if you have an si, it came with the d16z6 motor. that motor already has vtec = no need for a mini-me swap :woot:

ok...lemme ask you this....i was looking at a 93 del sol si....the guy that owns it said it had a mini me swap.....what kind of motor does the del sol si have and is the guy full of it when he says he has done a mini me swap on it???

sorry about the del sol si....its not an si.....its an s...the guy had his letters all jumbled up at the end and i couldnt tell...sorry....if he has done a mini me swap how reliable is it as far as a daily driver. what kind of hp do you think it will have??

The del sol Si has the same engine as the Si hatch, D16z6. He could've put any engine he wanted in for whatever reason. maybe he blew the z6, so if he has a mini me, you should ask him what engine it is.
A mini me as reliable as the care you put in to build it, is if was done correctly it'll be reliable if not well you know the answer. any good build could be as good as an original one.
