Civic EG

Anyone seen any pictures of this swap in an EG? Has it even been done? I cant find anything.

I've not heard of anyone doing it yet, but i would do it that'd fucking rule, not only would you get a K you'd get a Boosted K... from the factory

It's basicully a quick ass K, then added with a turbo.

oh yea i remember that i went to a car show in boston wit my school and they had an acura rdx turbo.. is it awd? the car show had all stock cars and a couple prototypes...

from what I hear, the mounts are different than the k24/k20.

Yeah the best I can see after internet research is they are having trouble getting a tranny to fit....the RDX is AWD....its unclear but I think hasport did make mounts for it but no one can fix the boltable tranny issue.

I know it doesnt make that much more than the K24 but I just think its kinda cool since Honda has only made like five stock turbo engines ever. Plus if someone could make it work it would be the first K23 swap ever....hahahaha. Talk about rare.

sounds like a good project for me lol i wish... i want an awd ef hatch and i have 3 options rtawd from a wagovan, b20 rtawd from a crv, or a zc with a wagovan tranny.. so far it's lookin like im gonna get a zc with a wagovan tranny and get to work on the customizing....

i would love to have dat in my EG

Do you think the tranny would be the only fitment issue? I would think that the motor would be a bit too big seeings how it is coming from an SUV with a much bigger engine bay than a Civic or any of the other small Honda's... but it would still be an awesome swap to do nonetheless..
