Rear Glass Pins

how hard are they to install? how effective are they? need some input, 'coz i've tried everything to keep my rear glass in place but it's too damn stubborn 'coz of the accident the previous owner had. it don't fit right.

they're the pins on the lower corners of the glass. would appreciate comments and suggestions. thanks :)

extremely easy. Just need a rivot gun. You can use the sparco ones or the mugen ones.

Sparco use on the hatch window and the mugens fasten to the hatch.

You only need these if either you have a CF hatch or Lexan windows. I had to get them when I installed a lexan window.

korean4life - thanks bro. by the way, would you know how much these things cost? someone's trying to sell me a pair for around $25. does that sound about right?

also, would i need to remove the hatch stays? them hydraulic dampers? :)

naa I paided 20 brand new for my Sparco's I forgot about the Mugens ones maybe 40?

I didnt keep my struts. Hatch was COMPLETELY GUTTED. I believe you could Mickey Mouse it to work with it hahaha.

yeah I looked at old pictures and yeah you can get them to work with the struts. just need to rivot them on the caps that go on he window.

Does the spring strech? If you go over a bumper wouldn't your rear window open? :? :lol:

yup the spring strech...... theres no way for the boot to pop out....

i don't think it'll pop out since you still have the lock on the tailgate.
