I just bought a 92 DX hatch and the tailgate part of the hatch is unaligned, specifically, the left side sits higher than the right side which causes me to have difficulty closing the glass hatch and also causes the taillights to be unaligned on the left side. the other side is fine however. The car hasn't been hit at all, so should I replace the hinges on the tailgate? or just replace the tailgate altogether? Anyone whose had a similar problem? Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks!

That's not too bad as far as the alignment goes. If you loosen the bolts on the hinges, the holes are slightly enlarged and will allow for some adjustment. More than enough to fix what's going on in the pic

Car looks repainted to me. Are you sure it hasn't been hit before. Either way teal is right, super easy to do
