#358058 I have a 92 hatch and a couple months ago I bought new corner light and headlights and was wandering if there is a hid I can use in the factory housing so that way I don't have to buy new headlights.thank you

#358069 The OEM housings are fluted (all the small rectangles in the glass) which will just scatter the light everywhere and blind oncoming drivers.

You'd at least want something that looks like this:

And even then you should still use a projector setup:

#358077 Like mentioned Hid in stock housings will blind the crap out of on-coming traffic. You are just going to piss people off and have them high beam you right back. Invest in some projector headlights and do it right. :thumb:

#358101 Buy this projector kit:
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-retrofit-kits/universal-kits/bi-xenon-morimoto-mini-stage-3-kit-h1.html#.VpQU4fkrKHs

Buy these eBay headlights:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Civic-EG-EJ-JDM-Black-Headlights-Amber-Corners-SiR-City-Light-SI-EX-HB-/181797204259?fits=Year%3A1995%7CModel%3ACivic&hash=item2a53f53123:m:myzy1IgB-X2NBVJaj13IIsg&vxp=mtr

Take a heat gun (or carefully use an oven) to heat up your OEM headlight and remove the fluted glass front housing. Install the projector retrofit. Use the same method to remove the clear glass front housing from the eBay headlights and use a new adhesive to reinstall the clear housing from the eBay headlight onto your OEM housings. The other option is to spend a TON of time wetsanding the glass to remove the flutes from the OEM lens. If you don't mind the look of the eBay "JDM" headlights you can even use them with the retrofit projector kit installed. I just don't like the eBay housings because the adjuster mechanism in them is junk and you can never aim them correctly, but the clear glass has always fit right onto OEM housings for me.

Link to a DIY where someone installed this retrofit kit into the eBay housings. The light from these is beautiful looks like it came installed from the factory and you won't blind people.
