adding vtec to my non vtec cx

hey guys i bought a 92 cx its my first build.. im going to swap its crappy d15 to a b16 can any one help with some real detail info on how to do electrical?

p.s can i keep the a/c if i make that swap?

You can keep AC :thumb:

For the electrical, you'll only need to run 3 wires to the ECU for vtec.

depends if u tun the ecu u can make it pop by just running the vtec wire

no need to wire for Vtec its a 92 its already prewired. just need OBD1 Vtec harness and plug everything in. you'll need to wire for 4 wire O2 sensor if i remember right.

Tru tru but uck the o2 when u get the ecu chip turn the 02 off

you lucked out, vtec is already wired in your harness. all you gotta do is get a p28 or vtec ecu and motor, plug it in and you sir, are good to go.

There is no need to tune when your running the correct ecu for the motor. If he plans on building the motor or getting a turbo then yea he might want to look at hondata s300.
