my heat and ac just blows out the face vents wrok but the floor to the to the defrost dont work idk anyone know y ?

do you hear the mechanism working when you push the button to change the direction?

nope it just stay one the face vents

First look under your dash and find the cable connection. If the switch doesn't move at all, disconnect it from the heater box and then try it. If it does in fact slide, then was the sheath secured? If you take it off and don't put it back on right, you'll lose half your adjustment. I'd have to look up the procedure but I think you connect the loop, slide the knob all the way right, and then snap in the sheath.

Open up the heater box behind the radio and see if there is a physical obstruction. Clean out the AC portion while you're in there. The blower side will be clogged with leaves, dead mice, a bird's nest etc.
