from esi d16z6 to del sol sir engine conversion

Hi guys Im considering this conversion as i have both cars and need to what's involved and any additional parts i need to make this b16 fit my hatch. [/u]

seems like you have everything you need right there now you just need time and are both manual??

Yes both are manual. Just a case of swapping it in? The esi is a UK hatch, del sol sir a jap

since you are getting a Del Sol Sir you'll need an integra shift linkage 99-00 SI also the 96-98 B16 Civic should also work and you need to make sure that Del sol is OBD1 which is 92-95 it its obd2 you'll need to convert the engine to obd1 dizzy, harness and ecu, and maybe a sensor or 2. and maybe mounts if the 96+ del sol's are different.

The del sol is a 92 so imagine its obd1. Won't a civic vti or sir gear linkage work ?

Chrono shows in his Del Sol build thread how he converted standard B series shift linkage to fit his Del Sol.

See page 4 of his build thread where he added 2" to each linkage arm.
