For 4 or 5 grand already owning the car? or including the cost of the car?
Its possible depending on if you do the work your self and own the car.
Fastests setup would probally be a Turbo "G23 Vtec" (F22/f23 block, with forged rods, h22 water pump and timing belt, H22a/F20B DOHC VTEC head)
If you do this your biggest problem will be traction, Once you get slicks to fix it you will break axles, after getting stronger axles you will break your transmission. H/F Trannys are known to be weak, especially with higher power setups. To get around that people Run B Series trannys however they cost around a grand by themselfs.
This is just one possible setup, If I was going to build a dedicated drag car this is something I would highly consider. However there are many other ways of going fast.
Juice has done a 12.85 in a BONE STOCK b18 with LSD GSR Tranny and slicks.

I forgot to mention its boosted. You left that Turbo 2.5liter WRX in the dust.

I always enjoy watching your video's.
edit:
If you dont mind fabrication, AWD will help out greatly in the 1/4.

i already own the car
and i would be doing the swap dont know much about tunning

picked it up for the quick 5hundy
painted it red slapped some wheels on it
i live in wichita ks
as u would expect the honda secne is none existent here
i also only make 8 dollas an hour been that way for two years
the economy bro the economy
i wanna put honda back in the game something that really
compete's
and i aint got much money
im also scared to rip into the motor thier just aren't any trust worthy shops here execpt maybe fusion even then i dont trust it
not even a tune
what do u think about an h22 on spray chrono
or even a gsr

KC might be a bit of a jot for ya, but call Chuong at Revline 8162214411 he'll set you up. Just dont call, and waste his time. He's a busy dude, but he knows his shit.
What engine do you have currently? D?
I would say the cheapest route would be a piston/rod turbo B series.

that thing is tight bro
what a deal for a tight sleeper
like the header
all motor power
is gangsta
part of me wants to add to this thread by doing a recap of the motor install
set my budget at 4000
and see how fast i can
it would be in the wrong place on the forum though
