High mount brake light

Hi, Does any one know how to replace the high mount brake light bulb on a 94 Hatchback? Regards, Gerald.

if your talking about the one in the spoiler you just take the screws out of the brake light, then you can replace the bulb

Hi, Yes, I have gotten as far as removing the screws, but I can't see how to get the light assembly out. Gerald.

it just pops out, take the wing off if it makes it easier for you.

haha i just changed my stock wing for a duck bill wing with out the light lol :lol:

its a lot easier if you just take the wing off..

heres my easy 4 step process man :lol: thank me later!


step 1: take off wing (4- 10 mm bolts)
step 2: install CARBON FIBER Duck Bill
step 3: Tighten those 4-10 mm nuts
Step 4 enjoy!

Its actually 4....two on each hinge for the window.

Success! The problem was the gasket between the lens and housing. It was catching in the opening. I trimmed it, and now all is well. Thanks, Gerald.
