its not to hard i would say maybe a 5 on the dificulty 1-10 for the fact of you need to remove the upper stationary linkage from the car. and the exhaust is in the way.
take the bolt out of the bottom of the shifter. and move that linkage to the side then pull the bolt out of the tranny side of the other linkage and the 2 12mm bolts that hold it to the chassis and remove that one from the car.
once thats done there are 2 10mm nuts that are always rusted to hell so spray the hell out of them with penitrating oil or just break them and drill out and use new bolts and nuts. then the old shifter will come out and you can put the new one back in put it all back together
