I have a 93 Civic Si and and I have no idea if my car has ABS and also what civics came with it please help me out

I dont think they put abs into them until 94

lol well thank you for that I will see next time I get in the car. Am I looking for them to lock up and if i dont have them what would happen if I didnt have ABS

I have one of 93 American who comes to abs is nothing more than
disc has four tires and an acu in the trunk
and a console in front of the car

If you had abs and slammed on the brakes they would pulsate (Lock up > Free roll, repeat)
With no abs your brakes will just lock up

turn key on, see if the abs bulb lights up in the bulb check.

and you would konw if u had it

the abs unit is in the trunk
and there would be a big ass thing near ur battery
with brake lines goin to them
and you would have orange clips under the hood

Ok cool i will check in the am

you'll see a bunch of yellow wires in the engine bay.

Sounds good i still havent lookes under my hood yet lol

93 Si Negativo!!!! I have a 93 Si also. no ABS for us. they came in 94/95 Civic Si/Ex..

But yea turn on ur ignition before u start ur car. YELLOW ABS youll see if u have it..

I have two 93 Si hatches. Neither have ABS. Honda didnt put ABS on civics until 94.

I got it on my hatch 94 Ftw
