Hi, i have a 1994 factory secutiry system, Alarm, immobiliser and remote locking .
When i bought it the guy said he can't use the system in Winter and have to lock the car by key as its temperamental.
Alarmed it the other day but then when i tried to get it off with remote it just kept resetting the alarm even though new battery in sender and the LED lights to show its sending a signal.
Had to set the alarm off and try to switch it off took minutes standing next to the car hitting the button and won't risk it again incase i can't get it off sometime.
Can i do anything about it? Assume receiver isn't picking up the signal being sent and doing its own thing . Wondered if this was common with remotes when cold.
Also my SRS light stays on quite a while after starting when cold then sometimes flashes on for 10 secs randomly is it just the cold sending it all haywire again?
