You add a couple for the motor and the panels are negligent as far as weight difference... other than that most of the hardware swapped is a wash on weight. Unless the Ex doors themselves weight more, which i don't know why they would but could be

as long as everything is sealed properly you shouldn't have issue with water/moisture messing with the electronics.

I did the swap in my DX, and i hand wired everything at first, now i picked up the chassis harness from a EX and making everything OEM plug and play
