Civic EG

Don't know the name of it, but it's the metal thing that hooks onto the trunk and secures the glass. Mine just fell off when I opened the rear glass to get to the trunk! I need to know the replacement part number or what this thing is called. My rear glass won't stay closed right now!

Maybe the striker?

cant really tell from the picture, but it's attached to the rear wipers. It's the metal "U shaped" thing that is hooked onto the latch of the tailgate.

Okay looks like it might be the striker. Is it easy to install? Has anyone done this?

It's realy easy. It would be easier if you go to the junkyard and take the whole thing off. If you dont have a wiper then it will drop straight in. With wiper its a little more complicated but nothing hard.
