I have a 1994 si and it has the factory ac system in it I just recharged the ac with refegerant yesterday but when I have the ac on and I'm parked it works perfect but when I start driving the car makes weird vibrations and it drives weird like when I shift from first into second the kickback is way harder like the car jerks any ideas why this is happening ???

prolly too much freon in the system .......... take it to a mechanic and have him/her check the system pressure

And STOP using it until you have it check by someone who knows what they are doing. You will just make it worse by trying to use it. You can blow a line, O-ring, or compressor if its overcharged.

what did you charge it with here were not aloud to put in r-12 anymore so if you went to 134a you need to do some stuff to retrofit it

did you have r-12 left in the system before you added the 134a?
you may want to look in to that then. it was a R-12 system before no?
I never played with the retrofit in eg's before but some models required changing a few things like the orifice tube or low pressure switch. due to the pressures are slightly different in 134a vs r-12 system

these are some very basics to retrofitting to make it work properly aka no noises or it actually blow cold as you want it to.
my cb7 when i did the basic retrofitted with new fitting and had the system completely drained and refiled with proper oils and r134A it did not blow cold it blew just cold enough to say it was colder then the air outside and I would need new adjustable low pressure switch and possible orifice tube. and found out I had to take the dash out to get at it and didn't bother.

Na the system is r134a there's the Honda stIcker on the hood but yea something has to be messed up today me and my friend checked the pressure and it was all the way to the red so we let some out I drove it after and it vibrates less but still jerks and my exhaust shakes more I have a apexi ws2 btw

he wouldnt have been able to put the freon in if it was a r12 system the fittings arnt the same
and the vibrating is from the compressor trying to compact the freon but cant cuz theres too much.

please don't tell me you just let it out in to the air if you did you could be fined
take it to a garage with licensed air condition license and have them look at it. it may be something plugged to so the freon may just be pressurizing the high side

You wouldn't believe what people do to try and get stuff to work.
it may also have been retrofitted before.
