i have a 92 vx with the blue interior. i have painted all but the dash to black...i got a black dash as a gift but it is for a 95. it has a passanger side air bag...

here is where ur opinion comes in...i want to put a carbon fiber tray in place of the air bag and i was thinking of maybe using some kind of actuator to bring the tray up and maybe building an enclosure housing some gauges...kinda like a stealth gauge pod.....

that sounds kinda cool. if youknow how to do that stuff, then do it. just make sure its sleek an clean.

if you plan on taking this car to shows then go for it. sounds like it would be cool, not mt style but hell a lot of things arent

If the car is and will stay a street car/daily. Then dont do that. Just put the tray in and be done with it. If its a show car, that could be nice.


I still think just slap the tray in and call it a day.

If you're good at that kind of thing then give it a try. It would be different for sure.
I wanted to put 2 gauges under the center vent on top of the dash and push on the vent to pop the gauges up and push it back down to hide them. but the more I looked at the setup, the more I changed my mind.
