Got a 93 hatch the previous owner removed all kind of stuff that is now a big problem.

I have no horn and I don't even know how to wire it because I believe the wiring has been removed. Is there anyway to power up a a stock honda horn and connect it to the steering wheel or do I need an original harness??

Thanks

sweet i can help you lol what you do is this....

either go to the junkyard and get the following
-you can go ahead and get either the ribbon from behind the steering wheel with all connectors and in the ribbon there will be a lead that connects underneath the steering column now work your way to the fuse box and there should be a yellow connector on the right side. get that whole set-up

now you can just use the yellow connector but id suggest getting the whole harness because its safer since your steering wheel turns and wires will fray etc.....the airbag ribbon thing behind the steering wheel allows everything to stay connected.

Ok next get a horn unless you already have one then your set

plug in everything and there you have it horn....now what i said is well a bit quicky of a explanation if you need any help let me know and ill see what i can do.

or you can run a wire or two from the horn one to a ground another to a button switch where you can mount somewhere accessable whilest driveing then hook the button to a positive source and done....

Right on! I just was working on that today. Would the harness for the horn be called the horn harness?

upon disassembling the steering wheel I realized that I had never seen the airbag module before. How can you tell if it has been used?

not sure since on my eg at least the horn is intertwined with the airbag ribbon thing.

and im unsure of your second question if you mean if the airbag ever went off i guess you might see some burning around the clips possibly like something got hot but really on most cars you cant tell....
