my hatch is definitely a hybrid of the trims. The badge says "Civic EX" but its a hatch.it has cruze control but no power windows/locks/mirrors.its a D15B non vtec 5spd. some really wierd seats with a bannana shape support for the headrest on one side

I was just wondering how is this possible. i am pretty sure that the car is stock because i knew the previous owner well.

92-95 hatches had a sticker not a badge, so if it has an ex badge then someone stuck it on.

92-95 seats have the banana shaped headrest support, so that's normal.
I don't know if dx was available with cruise control or not, but other than that I'd guess you have a dx with an ex badge.

sounds like a DX with crusie control.

no hatch ever came "EX"

it is a sticker not a badge. but the cruise itsnt the way it should be from the manual pictures of cruise in an SI. it has a little arm with the controls that comes off the steering column that swivels around. ill get pics up shortly(its snowing and i havent gotten dressed yet)

i was thinking maybe its a special ordered one from when it was new

sounds after market. i was going to be a 96 civic coupe, but it was a dx, with after market power windows, and cruise, moon roof. if i want all of those options i rather have them oem right from honda.

is that a fmic? is the car turbo'd? from the lack of side moldings i would say it may have started life as a cx. does it have tilt wheel, or rear speakers?

looks to be a CX. If it was a vtec motor it would be a vx.

it doesnt have a tilt wheel or rear speakers. And its Full FMICed but not boosted (interfooler lol) got the front mount from a friend and he said throw it on you car. he didnt think i would do it.

yeah i live in the middle of nowhere in a hick town the closet thing to a decent car i see is a 300ZX that is half apart behind a shop here. so no one understands the intercooler

yea its either a vx or cx with a sticker that says civic ex on it or some sorta thing happened and it really says cx ummm.....yea with a motor swap......

i went and took a look at the sticker close up, it looks like it could say CX

its definatly a cx, its probably a swapped motor, or a d15b8
