Solar panel roof?
Posted: Sat Jul 25, 2009 11:35 pmI have been getting into solar panels, and was going to add some to the house I'm working on saving up to buy but that will be a few months because of a stupid random drug test so I'm wanting a project to do right now.
I have my hatch that just got broken in to because I was stupid, and plan on spending about $400 to get it fixed and upgraded so it won't be so easy to have it happen again. Then I was thinking about a paint job, and thought about how I have the flat roof to add a good amount of solar panels, that I already have, on. I just don't know what I could use it for.
Any ideas? I'm thinking one small thing I could add is one of those small fans that use hardly any energy so I don't have to use the AC, but that's not going to use all of the power I'll be getting. I've been thinking about adding a small screen to the car and hooking up my extra 360 up to it, since I do travel as my job and it'd be fun to play while the other person is driving since I'll be getting a partner soon.
