Ok so i bought a vx a while back and i knew it was salvaged. The problem i am having now is that i want to change the side fenders, front bumper, headlights, well the whole front end. But i discovered the radiator support is bent and some of the parts wont line up... Will changing the radiator support fix the problem?? just wondering...

car was probably in a wreck. Just changing the core support might not fix the issue 100% as the unibody going to the core support might be tweaked one direction or the other.

However if the core support is tweaked putting a new one is a good idea. You will have to have it re-welded back into place. If you go with the new core support you should be able to get everything lined up. It might take some work but its doable and if you look through some of our civic builds its been done before here on the site.

Good Luck :thumb:

I knew the guy and i knew the wreck it was not a big one, I just did not know the radiator support was bent lol. Hopefully it will fix some things. The wheels line up well so I am thinking it is just that.

Not doing a DIY job on this one though. I heard you have to weld the support ( I have seen some just bolted but dont think is a good idea) Thanks for the info much appreciated :)
