yeah pretty much it

i have an alarm i use for my hatch, when i unlock the car the left door never seems to open, only the drivers side.

what seems to be the problem??

So you have keyless entry? Can you unlock it manually? Have you taken your door panel off the make sure everything is connected/intact?

if its the alarm maybe is not set to open both lock at the same time, on my alarm I had to program that feature, press once opens driver door, press twice and it opens both

I think it`s the central locking box, inside the driver door...

if it does not open at all as in i unlock it and it wont open, i unlocked it with the key and it still wont open, i unlocked it with remote and it still wont open..

you will have to take off door panel and try to get to the bar that goes to the door latch mechanism and open it from there and then figure out the problem from there.

Sounds like your door latch, like you were saying take your door panel off and manually open the door and then take the latch out. Its probably something simple like a clip or spring came off.

our cars have the worst locks...the plastic piece broke in mine and i cant look the doors from the inside now

but i cant ever lock my keys in my car now lol

hey sorry for the late reply guys, net wasnt working for a few days.

maybe its true, because i am able to open both doors when i unlock/lock it with the key, but alarm - nope.
