they just tightin up the body a little... some JDM type R's came with these... you could just possibly make your own seeing it how it connects 3 points to make it more solid.

They go on underneath the front fenders. They should "bolt on", but as with anything from eBay fitment is probably a little sketchy and you'd have to work a little to get them on.

damn... those welds

^^
Shoot I think I'll get some measurements, some metal and borrow a welder and fab me some.
Do they really even help with tightening up the body?

you know when you have a large, heavy engine and the rear's stiff, then you corner, the front's softer a bit so it flexes then the rear just drives you into a spin? the fender braces help to combat the oversteer brought about by too-heavy engines.
or something like that. i need nicotine (off-topic sorry)

Makes sense just haven't really heard much about people using these. I think I'll make me some since my hatch is out of comission anyway.

The Js Racing ones are much better looking and go further out from the door. One of the members here has them on his car.

I voted no, mainly because the one listed is crap.
Here is a better choice for a fender brace. J's racing.
Here they are on a members car. sqsi

I should have my car back on the road very soon so I can comment on my fender braces. I have yet to drive it since I put them on

Kinda just look like unnecessary added weight!

The J's racing ones are aluminum.
I wouldn't touch that steel tube eBay bullshit.
