taking off my side moldings

so i want to take off my moldings so if anyone could help me out with where to start or point me to a good DIY thread that would be awesome thanks

They need to be taken off from the inside, i am pretty sure. Just take off the door panels and pop them out with a flat-head. There are probably other ways though.

use some needle nose pliers and there's a screw that's right where the door latch is when you first open the door that needs to be removed as well

ya i took them off and managed to not break any clips but the area where the screw was was rusted so it broke when i tried to undo it but oh well it still sits flush i think im gonna need to invest in some thin side moldings mine are pretty beat up thanks for the help guys much appreciated :D

it doesn't matter really. the screw on my passenger door was rusted too and broke and one of the clips next to it and it still sat flushed lol
