it is made by VHT and called Nite Shades. I've used it before and it came out pretty good. Just be careful how many coats you put on or your tail lights won't be very visible in the day time.

Would primer be necessary? Also, how many coats did you end up doing teal?

3 coats was good. Yeah use paint thinner but not aircraft remover, that could melt the lights.
be sure to lightly scuff the lights so the paint will adhere too

I've used VHT Night Shade before, good stuff. I didn't do any prep work other than cleaning the hell out of them, then I sprayed on one thick ass coat (but not thick enough to run). Came out fantastic.

ive done it to my rear lights and indicators and looks good imo, easy to do just make sure to do light coats at a time and use a nylon abrasive pad to make the plastic matte otherwise you may have adhesion problems. great value for money mod
