hey, just wonderin... have n e of u painted your wheel wells? i decided to do so, and it looks ridiculously better. after taking the wheels and the splash gaurds off, spraying with a pressure hose, and using a rag to smooth out the sound dampening, tape and bag off all the brakes/suspension. i used the frost white dupli-color spray paint, about 5 cans for the fronts, 4 for the back, then clear coated with clear duplicolor rim coating. i need to get some front splash gaurds, as the ones on the car are caked with 14 years of wisconsin road, and needless to say, not worth trying to clean up to painting par. i found a pair for about $40 on ebay shipped. the only thing i dont like about it is it highlights the fact that i dont have anything in the suspension/brake/wheel department, but that will soon be different. lastnight the thought of fiberglassing the splash gaurds and wheel wells so it was smooth as can be, we'll put that far down on the list tho...

yea driving??? but n e ways, i feared that to, which is why i though about fiberglassing it, but i really cant be more pleased with the outcome. it is drivin everyday, but its been painted for around 1 1/2 2 months now, no chips, and the dirt and all that washes right out. thats also y it took so many cans of paint, putting a nice thick sheild of that clear rim coater didnt hurt either im sure. but if it doesnt make it through winter, i figured i could always just spray sound elimnator in there, get em all black again atleast. but so far, clean. i would a couple pix, but i dont have a site to store them.

get some nice wheels and dump it on its butt with coil overs you wont see the wheel well. i know what you mean, they look bad even from far away on any car
