Yep most definitely did...see...in NY especially in my area they just love dumping pound upon pound of god damn salt/dirt combination...it tears shit up...it unfortunately sat thru the entire winter in the driveway, but once that god damn rust got started a couple years ago it doesnt take much to keep it goin ya know

Yeah I hear that. Chicago was the same way, they pounded the streets with salt all the time. It ate the shit out of my EF.

that looks familiar! you have a project ahead of you :woot:

so your rocker panels were OK after you took the side skirt off? mine looked OK from the outside untill I did the screwdriver test. Stab it with a screw driver, if it goes through then it failed!

example of not passing, all I was from the outside was some bubbles in the paint. :eh:

Yep rust sucks pretty god damn bad...and if you live in an area where the winter gets bad then you've prolly had the same damn problem...

teal_dx Im not sure on the rocker panels yet, havent gotten in contact with the brother yet so who knows, he said your how to though definitely is gonna help "ESPECIALLY" if the rocker panels are fucked up..

As for the cost of this little project it should be around 1000-1500...the replacement panels were about $80 all together from www.rustrepair.com, and the cost of tools for the job is gonna come to about 1200 give or take unless we get lucky so... :) Thanks for all the support guys, glad i wasnt the only one out there with the damn "curse of the honda"
