so the cable that hold the latch came off. any ideas how to open the hood?

hey at least no one can brake in lol, were did it brake ? can u reacj it and pull it ?

if your talking about the piece that you pull that pops the hood and the cable is chillin there grab a pair of pliers and pull the cable..Mine has been broke since the day I bought the car.

This is why I fabricated my own lock out of a metal tube( goes where the latch hole is, and a chain. I lock it under the car.
To open my hood
A have the key
B Bring a strong cutting device. Its the hood, lock, or chain.

Jack the car up, reach under the front if you have long enough arms and yank the cable to the left.

or

Grab a crow bar and reck your car.
