Hey everyone! I hope I'm posting in the right section. My sunroof stuck in the closed position and I think I know what happened, it's a little spring that broke or a plastic piece, it doesn't matter anyway. My problem is that I don't know how to remove the lid. I looked at the DIY sunroof teardown thread and it clearly says that the sunroof need to be tilted a bit in order to remove the 6 allen bolts that hold the lid but my sunroof just won't budge. The motor is still working. So, what's my best option? Remove the sunroof as a whole and attempt to repair it or just remove it and find another one from the junkyard?
I've added a pic showing how much the sunroof opens at this moment, it's the driver's side, the right side is closed even more (that's where the piece/spring snapped).
