Water Leak under Glove Box

I've got a 95 model Ferio. had it resprayed recently and all rust removed however, found that after i hosed the car off this morning, water dripped rapidly onto the carpet from under the glove box... any ideas as to where its coming from and of course any solutions...

- Tue Feb 11, 2014 1:48 pm #342454 My guess would be heater core. I havent replaced one on an EG but they are no fun on most cars.

- Tue Feb 11, 2014 2:15 pm #342460 If it was after hosing the car, that's good because it might not be your heater core. However, it's bad because it could be your windshield seal or the intake duct for the climate control (located in the passenger cowl area in front of windshield).

The best way to see where it's coming from is to have someone outside with a hose and you be inside under the dash with a flashlight. Pulling out some of the interior may help to pin point where the water is coming in.
