ok so i wanted to get ur guys' opinion on yellow headlights.. do u guys like em or no? i know that they give u greater visability and they look nice to me.. also are they legal in so. cal?

I don't know about them being legal in So Cal... Each state has different laws. I have had yellow bulbs on another car for a few years with zero problems. But then I heard of someone not too far from my town getting pulled over for his, could just be the cop didn't like civics or the kid could have been driving like an ass.

I think they look best when used with clear lens headlights, the stock EG headlights are not clear, they have all the angles in the surface to scatter the light. Do you have stock or aftermarket headlights?

I had MTEC yellow bbulbs and loved them, but one burned out every year. They looked better because they had some kind of irridescent coating over the bulb that made them appear to change color a little bit depending on the viewing angle. I recently bought Lumi-sometheng rather brand off ebay and they are the same yellow all the time, no special coating. They have not burned out yet though

i dont mind em depends on the color of the car

ya those are the same headlights that i have.. i was thinking bout gettin em.. but i gotta find out if they are legal or not..

ask some random cop on the street if they are cool they will help you out and tell you if its cool or not. or look up the laws in your town i had the website that said all that stuff but i forgot it Ill look for it and give you a heads up.

I am looking for some hella bright and hella yellow bulbs for my fogs. Any suggestions?

im in so cal and my buddy had a DA teg with his regular lights and then the inside lights were yellow and he never got pulled over

but im pertty sure if your whole headlight was yellow they might get you
then the cop might get you for somethin that might illgal wit ur car

if you got a hatch or a coupe id get the yellow fog lights
or just take your chance with the yellow headlights lights

I think the yellow looks great. I think the only colors that are illegal are purple and green.

i know here in michigan they are legal, as i have them in my civic. i have the nokya bulbs though

its less then the white lights. but in the rain and smog, its great! better then the white or stupid xenon...

I am in Pa and i never had a problem with yellow lights in several of my cars

but, i didn't have a yellow bulb

i used lamin-x on the lens its a rock chip gaurd comes in several different colors

this pic is absolutely horrible but you get the idea
