#274171 Hi there, as i have mentioned before i am doing a full rebuild on my eg. I have just completed the bay and i am now on with tackeling the underside.

My question is what should i use and how should i go about it? i have currently keyed up the transmission tunneland i am ready to apply what ever is needed. in the past i have just used stonechip through the schutz gun but i want to make sure i am doing this correct.

1. should i apply any primer before the stone chip coating?
2. can the old under seal be painted over with stone chip or with this flex and crack off?
3. should it be over painted with any thing as it dries to a matt finish?

any how to link would be a brilliant help for me, and maybe make it sticky for other people to use

Thanks for reading. :thumb: :D

#275124 Not sure if you need to remove the old stuff it might be a pita . After you spray it you could hit it with color since it will be dull looking but if its under the car no one should really see but you . If there are any bare metal spots prime those everything else should be ok to stonechip.
