- Mon Jun 13, 2011 11:40 pm #259348 I was just curious if you could use handles off of a newer civic or another car for the exterior so it changes the way you open the door, instead of pulling the door handle forward to open the door i want to be able to lift the door handle like the newer civics. anyone have any ideas?

- Mon Jun 13, 2011 11:42 pm #259349 im sure its possible but you would have to either bend or cut the tabs and weld etc just to get something to look remotely right its a bit of work but in the end may be something sweet....

- Mon Jun 13, 2011 11:52 pm #259354 i was just curious if anyone has done this kind of swap and has any hints or tips i could use, like what car handles line up the best and what not... but if i cant find the lift up, im just gonna put an alarm system on my car and get sedan rear door handles to remove the key holes...
