#221389 I want to do a wire tuck, shave my engine bay, and fill in some small holes where some emblems used to be. What type of welder would be good for this type of application? Flux, MIG, TIG? What about voltage? Anyone who has experience with welders please let me know. Thanks

I agree. You should get a MIG welder

#221422 I'm using a Hobart Welder

I have been doing all my body work with flux cored wire not using shielding gas, but only cause I'm to lazy to go get gas lol.

I had some experience in my past with a Lincoln stick welder so working on thin metal with .030 flux cored wire wasn't to bad. But if you have no experience a thinner wire with gas shielding might be a easier start.

Just my opinion though :)
