removing side moldings

Take off your door panel on the inside and reach in with pliers and pinch the clips holding the moldings on and pop them out. Its pretty simple. as far as pluggin the holes...
not sure of an 'easy' fix for that. It'll take welding/grinding/sanding/priming and painting to get them to look clean.
