Civic EG

Hi all!

My car just got in for a paintjob, she is being prepped right now, so I have the hardest task - picking a color. My civic is currently the standart black pearl, but I don't like it. The color is somehow not permanent, in some conditions it is not pure black, but goes to grey or something like that.

What I want is a pure black car, that doesn't change its color that much under direct sun light, but also has metallic particles /I don't know how are those called in english/.

So, what colors would you suggest?

I have a thought, but I can't seem to find a car which has this kind of color on it, so I can see it, either on a photo or in person. I want a pure black color with yellow metallic particles, so when under direct light it shows up only the yellow color, no green or anything.


If I don't get any info from you I will be painting it pure black, no metallics - a color from Lotus.

Granada black pearl. Has that hint of gold flakes when the sun hits it.

This Granada color has exactly the look I am trying to avoid - it looks somehow goes to gray.
