I'm painting my engine bay tommorow is it ok to paint the bolt holes or will the bolts have a hard time going back in cause of the paint?

Its better if you dont paint them like that you wont have any problems

painted over mine as well and didnt have any issues what so ever but if you really want to i guess you put a screw in and then paint.

just scrape it off after painting for a good ground contact

Usually okay, the bolts will remove the paint when you tighten it up. Might need to work it in and out once or twice but cant see it causing too much hasstle, i never plugged any bolt holes when i painted my engine bay and everything went back together fine!
