Recently got a set of gsr blades for a really great price however on a 2 of the rims have pretty bad chipping to where the glass aluminum polish is cracking off leaving metal behind, if i tear it all down to metal and sand it from low to high grit... will mothers aluminum/metal polish pull this off?

Yes, after sanding up to 2000 grit, mother's will finish the job nicely
