#105864 the red c8 in the link is a sign of poor craftsmanship. The other pics are common sense... when you hit a stationary object at high speeds while racing... you're going to badly damage your wheel

Personally, if I'm going to crash into something, I'd rather have the wheel break and absorb the impact there and replace 1 wheel than have to replace the entire suspension and possible chassis damage.

#105895 Like said in the linked thread, these rims are being used for racing and as such are a wear item. Still fooked up though. I'd like to see that happen to my Enkei's lol

#105897 Screw anyone who says otherwise, I love my Rotas and I'm confident that they aren't going to fall apart unless I drive like a 16 year old girl and crash into stuff.

...

Just because you have the real deal doesn't make it any less likely to fail than any other wheel ;)

#105957 lol, I didn't mean it like it wouldn't happen to my wheels. More like "If I am pushing my car hard enought TO have it happen, it would be cool to see my wheel in pieces" lol. Something to brag to my friends about. "Yah I've got a lot of torque, so what!" lmfao

Contact Rota immediately. They have been very receptive to complaints about unusual wheel failures. They have been replacing defective wheels and even reimbursing for tire remounting in other caeses.

Did anyone else see this on one of those posted links? Good for Rota!

#106099 Not only Rota wheels do brake!

It's all how you treat ore abuse your wheels!!
Even a expensive forged rim will give up some day!
