WTF rota structural failure

i googled pictures of what they would look like on one
and found this

dont get me wrong i like rotas but ive never seen this happen with anything ithink ill just stay stock for now

- Thu Mar 26, 2009 12:42 pm #105864 the red c8 in the link is a sign of poor craftsmanship. The other pics are common sense... when you hit a stationary object at high speeds while racing... you're going to badly damage your wheel :roll:

Personally, if I'm going to crash into something, I'd rather have the wheel break and absorb the impact there and replace 1 wheel than have to replace the entire suspension and possible chassis damage.

Just because you have the real deal doesn't make it any less likely to fail than any other wheel ;)

Contact Rota immediately. They have been very receptive to complaints about unusual wheel failures. They have been replacing defective wheels and even reimbursing for tire remounting in other caeses.


Did anyone else see this on one of those posted links? Good for Rota!

I haven't had any problems with my old c8's either
