Looking at getting some 16x7 Slipstreams for my HB, looking at other topics about offset, people have had upgraded brakes, should be an offset of plus +40 right? does it matter whether i have stock or upgraded brakes?

It will matter if you upgraded to a big brake system. It depends on your rotor diameter and caliper clearance. And even then some of the same size wheels don't fit the same brake system. Depends on how thick the wheel is I guess. That's about as much insight as I have to offer . Maybe someone who has upgraded their brakes will chime in.

your only issue will be calipers... depending on the normal offset of 35-40 you might have prob. with calipers on upgraded brakes.. but if your rocking stocks then just slap em on and right out
