#335707 i really want some enkei 92's silver with some (lip/dish depth)

-i got camber kits in the front and unrolled fenders
-bondo on my rear QP's
-no camber kits on the rears
-im on about a 4 inch drop.
- another note is that my quarter panel edges are curled up a little
and my fender edges are also folded up.

figuring out what offset + backspacing will work is confusing so i need some assistance.

basically just want a little more depth / "deep dish" in my wheels, problem is the QP's NOT might be rollable.

Anyways Enkei 92 options are

15x7 +38
15x8 +38

or

15x7 +25
15x8 +25

also have seen a thread with
+0 offset (with dish?!) so IDK how that works, like i said this stuff is confusing to me.

Tires i plan of getting 165 / 50/ r15 's to help clearance

Rear:
I was thinking that i can have +38 in the REAR (but the issue im having is this might satisfy the level of "deep dish/ offset"depth i am looking for)

Front:
and +25 in the front with maybe a -3.5 degree camber angle

ANYWAYS my questions are:

-"i know that the [15x8 / 15x7] is the Diameter X Rim Width, but will 15x8 make a +38 offset look deeper (or what is the difference in appearance between a 15x7 and 15x8 wheel)? will i still be avoid to clear backspace issues for my rear suspension b/c im def not going to be able to put spacers?"

and

- "will getting a 15x7 for the front help with the fender clearance for a +25 offset , ADDITIONAL to a little bit of fender rolling?"

#335710 There are many variables in determining what will work. You mentioned stretched tire, which helps a lot. As well as neg camber. However without doing some test fitting, it is going to be tough to give a yes or no answer. The amount that your fender edges are already 'folded up' will be a big factor since you don't want to risk rolling and cracking bondo. There was a huge thread on the forum where people posted pics along with specs of wheels, suspension and fender mods but I can't find it right now. I'll look when I'm at a computer later. I think the thread as called "share your stance" or somethig like that.

#335716 yeah i checked that thread and im still confused lol !
i understand the concept of + and - but i just dont get how to measure or something idk...

anyways yes i actually think i will be good running +38 in the back im just not sure about the +25 in the front if worst comes to worst ill just settle for the +38 in front and back.

IM STILL WONDERING about the 15x8 and 15x7 difference i know this means more width but what does it mean for the overall look/ backspacing situation ?

Thanks teal for the advice ill try to search up that thread too. :thumb:

#335720 Here's the Share Your Stance thread:

there's a lot of good examples in there :thumb:

Also, I would get the same size wheel for front and rear so that you can rotate the tires, if longer tire life is a priority to you.

Typically a +38 is not going to look deep at all. I think you will need to go +25 to get the look you want.

Now for the math... 7" wide wheel w/ 0 offset will have the mounting surface in the center, so 3.5" on each side. (Actually closer to 4" on each side because wheels actually measure a little wider when you go from edge to edge. But rim width from bead to bead is what is used for stating the width of a wheel.)
So 3.5" on each side of the surface that mounts to the hub but then if you have a +25mm offset, it means that the mounting surface will be +25mm closer to the outside of the rim = less dish. 25mm is just barely under an inch, so that means you'll have 4.5" on the inside of the mounting surface and 2.5" on the outside.

Play with this calculator to see what I mean:

Here's a more detailed one to compare two different wheels/offsets:

#335729 will 165/50/r15 not fit on 7 or 8 " wide rims?? the calculator wont let me do it!

i guess thats where stretching comes in right?

Check again, they don't have 15x8+38 or a 15x7+25, only 15x8+25 and a 15x7+38.

So you really only have 2 choices: 15x8+25 and a 15x7+38.

Yeah 165 is not recommended for a 8" rim. 225 is suitable for 8" wide. 165 will be a big stretch for 8" wide rim.

It's hard to tell the depth in the link you posted with the wheels straight on. See the link I posted earlier for angled shots. :thumb:
