What fits best, Weights & Sizes

#323079 So I have finally narrowed my rim sizing down. I'm going with either a 15x6.5 or 15x7 with a +40 to +45 offset. I need help with tires though. I know a 195-50 and 195-55 will fit fine. But a set of rims popped up on craigslist that I love and they come with brand new 205-50's. Will I have any issues with that size tire? The rims are 15x7. Right now I am at stock height for the winter but I will be dropping my 95 hatch 2-3 inches during the summer. If more info is needed please ask. The guy will only hold the rims until Friday so I need some help

#323089 should be fine. i ran 205/50/15 on gsr fat fives which are 15x6 +35 iirc. only thing to watch out for is, depending on the offset, you might rub a little on full lock turns. other than that should be ok.
this is a pretty great site for checking clearances and what not for tires and wheels. http://www.willtheyfit.com/

#323095 You'll be fine. I have 15x7 with 205/50R15 on my hatch. Mine are +32 and my car is dropped about 3" and it rubs sometimes. But with a +40 to +45 offset you'll be good. :thumb:

#323133 Awesome. I am like 90% sure I'm gonna get the rims from craigslist. I know I will get shit for them but it's my car so phfuck it lol. They are American racing rims, kinda like the old school torque thrusts.

#323226 Well it's somewhat-kinda-sorta-official. As long as the dude will hold them like he said he would they are all MINE Image

#330864 Ended up paying $650 and another $100 for a rebalance. I tried them on and sold them that weekend. In my head I always wanted these on a hatch. They looked good but there was a lot more chrome than I expected and they were heavy as shit. I sold them for a grand cash and a 6 pack.
