Tire size for LS mesh wheel?

Can I fit a 225 50 15 sized tire on a acura integra ls mesh rim? I want to road race my EG hatch. Is this a adequate size or will i have fitment and driving issues? Thanks

that size would work for some drag radials, but otherwise a little too big. get a nice set of 205/50 or 195/55. i actually like how the 195/55's look a little better
here's a 205/50 MT ET Streets on mine..

you might want a bigger wheel
the ls is a 15x6,... to skinny for 225's
id get a 7 or 7.5 wheel even maybe a 8in wheel

ok, Ill go with the 205/50 but will a 6" wide rim be sufficient enough for occasional road racing on the weekends?

195/50R15 would be the correct size for the car and fit best on the wheel. But 205/50s will fit on it as well.

6" will be fine, 7" would be better.

I ditched the idea of getting ls mesh wheels. I ordered 15" Rota Slipstreams with 205/50 15 Toyo R888 tires instead
