so I got these lugnut at the fall carlisle swap meet. $16 for 20 of them not a bad deal. but I went to put them on and realized they are somewhat different... the thread pitch or whatever is fine they thread on perfectly but the base i guess u call it is different...

the one on the right is the new ones and the one on the left is whats on my car now. will they work? ive heard about acorn style vs this kind or that kind or whatever but im still clueless here and id rather not damage something :lol:

EDIT forgot to add im rollin with factory steelies if it makes a difference

technically you should only run acorn seat lugs. i've seen plenty of people run the conicals on OEM wheels though..

Our OEM honda wheels use the ball seat on the left, aftermarket wheels usually use the acorn style on the right. It's very dangerous to use the wrong style because they can come loose.

What kind of wheels do you have?
