- Sat Apr 16, 2011 7:28 pm #250734 whats up so i picked up these rims for 100 bucks but they have some cheap paint on them thats chipping... can i use that air something stripper to try and make them look how they come stock? any help will help thanks.

- Mon Apr 18, 2011 5:44 am #250907 Well you could just start sanding on it, or use aircraft stripper. It comes in a can and you just spray it on the paint. You let it sit and then just start wiping off the paint with some paint thinner.

- Mon Apr 18, 2011 7:57 pm #251020 Aircraft strip them, then sand and repaint if you want them painted. I would go with self etching primers, filler primer, an acrylic paint (if you want a nice glossy finish) then a clear coat.

Also you could polish them. There is a how to on the forum on doing so.
