yo guys how can i tell if the rims are 4x114? is there a way i can measure and tell if its 4x114 or 4x100

Measure straight across from the center of one lug/lug hole to the center of the other.

4x100mm = 4x3.93in(basically 4in)
4x114.3mm = 4x4.5in

so 4x100 is 4inch?

100mm is about 3.9"
114.3mm = 4.5"

how can i tell the rims are 4x114...
