to be honest kind of a waste if you ask me ...... some of those will NEVER be used. and most i see are rims we all enjoy so boo they should sell em for like 100 all four

I still can't find the full story on this place...
It doesn't look like they are scrapping them, but rather getting huge mixed shipments (last pic) and then sorting them all out. From there I'd imagine they sell them used or refinish them.

While i was with Discount Tire we had 3 warehouses totaling about 35K sq ft. and all they did was hold wheels like that.
Basically anytime you trade in wheels or leave them for Discount to "get rid of" ,if they are in good shape they will keep them to either re-sale, replace damaged wheels or give away (if the customer is that desperately in need).
The racks they used were about 20ft tall with the shelves spaced about 2ft between each.
Either way ... that's a lot of wheels still .... man i wish i still had connections in those warehouses .... employees could basically take what they wanted (limited to one set per month)
