Yea thats 2 years old but my friends father just went to the tire store and well only had a very slim to none selection of 14" tires for his daughters car and well im kinda worried a bit because 14" rims are sweet but i guess ill just have to go 15" rims but i still dont understand the whole ergonomics of stopping 14" rims

because the larger the rim the larger the rotational mass you must create the smaller the rim the easier to roll.....but yea since my selection shall be dwindling down shall i upgrade to a larger rim or something im not sure rear disc will allow for 13" rims nor will any upgrade to my front disc so im kinda stuck here i think....

any good suggestions would be quite helpful

#212084 Don't believe everything you read on yahoo answers
example:
Bigger rims and tires make the vehicle consume less gas.

True, less cars some with 14" wheels nowadays than they did 10+ years ago. But there's no shortage of 14" tires. 13" high performance tires are less popular, but still available:

and that's just 185/60R13

Your local store may not sell many but you can get anything on the internet.

185/60R14 on tirerack:

185/65R14 on tirerack:

and that's just on tirerack.

It seems like bigger wheels is the trend but when fuel costs continue to become more expensive, I think we will see more compact & micro cars.
These cars will have smaller wheels than most of the oem wheels on common cars today. Many other countries, especially in Europe, are way ahead of us when it comes to these cars. Fuel is more expensive there and has been for a while. We just finally got the Smart car here a couple of years ago.

#212220 I think 14" go well on EG's, especially HX's.
They even look clean lowered with stock hubcaps :thumb:

14"s allow more side wall which is great for the crap roads we have here. :eh:
