#205631 The guy must have high end equipment compared to the average joe. Figure he has a nice lathe to cut the mercedes wheels down. He must have machined the original edge to the perfect tolerance so that it butted up tight to the inner edge of the new lip & barrel. I think that's how he managed to keep everything in round.

I am pretty sure bead locks are not legal for road use in most states as well. The rims in this thread aren't bead lock though, you would mount the tire the same way you would on any other set of multi-piece rims
